Hi, I'm Zach! I'm currently a graphic design student at Sault College, but to be honest, graphic design wasn't originally in the cards for me. My original plan was to be a professional musician and focus entirely on my music career.

But looking back, my curiosity for design started when I was young. I was always completely fascinated by music album covers and band posters. I absolutely love films too, so that curiosity naturally expanded into movie posters. On top of that, I developed a huge passion for photography and videography. Whenever I take a photo or shoot a video, I always want to add words or sentences to it. I chose graphic design because I wanted to learn exactly how and where to place text, and how to pick the perfect fonts to match the exact vibe of the visuals.

 

One of my biggest musical inspirations is actually an artist who is also a graphic designer and heavily involved in their own album artwork and creative direction. Following that same path, I chose this program to expand my creative abilities and grow my skill set as an artist. My ultimate dream is to become an all-around creative, blending music, photography, videography, and graphic design into one cohesive style.
